The last official word from the studio specifically listed Jesse Eisenberg as being a part of the cast of Justice League. In 2016, the actor also strongly hinted that he’d be coming back on the series. Well, it’s a new year and it seems a bit confusing if the actor would be part of the ‘justice league’ because a recent rumor claims that although he was initially confirmed from Warner Bros to play a part and has a supporting role in the superhero sequel, he has been cut from Justice League in the wake of all of the recent changes to the film.
In a Q&A session that ensued on the website Batman-on-Film (via Batman-News), a fan asked one of the site’s reporters how big Eisenberg’s role as Lex Luthor will be in the upcoming Justice League. Guess what the reporter said? He said:
“He doesn’t have one. If he did prior to all the changes/reshoots, it was cut.”
The response was way too concise. Apparently this “news” should still be treated as a rumor, since we haven’t heard definitively from Warner Bros just yet.
Some viewers say they won’t miss him. What about you?
